Mi Línea de Investigación

Ecología Conductual y Evolutiva de Odonatos Mi investigación se enmarca en la Biología Evolutivay se enfoca en entender el papel de los procesos evolutivos adaptativos y no adaptativos en la generación de formas novedosas y fundamentales en el mantenimiento de la biodiversidad. Mis áreas de investigación abarcan desde la ecología evolutiva a la genómica, en temas tan diversos como: 

1) La selección sexual y el conflicto sexual

2) El mantenimiento del polimorfismo femenino

3) La especiación e hibridación

4) La adaptación en el contexto del cambio global 

 

Para ello, utilizo un enfoque multidisciplinar combinando análisis a nivel genómico, fenotípico, ecológico, conductual y ambiental.

Mi investigación de gran interés para una amplia audiencia de biólogos evolutivos, ecólogos y biólogos de la conservación, ya que los hallazgos tendrán implicaciones para la comprensión de la susceptibilidad, resiliencia y adaptabilidad de las especies al cambio climático. También de relevancia a nivel social en relación la conservación de la naturaleza y el desarrollo sostenible.
